Going BANANAS!
Jeremy and his crew will do what it takes to get the job done, even if it means using bananas!

That's right, a recent move of the President River Boat in St. Elmo, IL presented Jeremy with a challenge. The crane couldn't get close enough to the river boat so it needed to slide closer. Being in International Waters on
the Mississippi River it was necessary to
find a eco-friendly material to get the boat to slide on the beams...BANANAS!

Save a tree, move a house!
It may not seem worthwhile to move an entire house to a new site, but sometimes a move pays off.

Purchasing a recycled house and moving it to your own site is good idea for a few reasons. The first is that the home is already built; you only need to purchase the house, pay for the move and the installation of electrical wiring, plumbing, and a new foundation. The other is that it's great for the environment. You're not cutting down more trees to make a brand new house, but rather using existing materials that may otherwise be demolished or disposed of.

An average structure consumes about 100 cubic yards of landfill space. Recycling these structures saves 5 million cubic yards of landfill space per year while saving 2.5 million trees!
